A Candlelit Boathouse Wedding — Mileny & Andrick
The Camden County Boathouse in Pennsauken, New Jersey has a way of turning formal into warm — gold-patterned walls, tall windows, and room for a whole day to unfold under one roof. Mileny and Andrick Ceballos filled it with burnt orange, navy, and candlelight.
Getting Ready
The morning belonged to the women: bridesmaids in burnt-orange satin pajamas, Mileny in white, and then the transformation — a lace gown, a tiara, and her mother helping fasten the veil. Her bouquet of orange and pink roses became the color story for everything that followed, from the groomsmen’s burnt-orange ties to the florals on the arch.
The Ceremony — Arch, Cross, and Cord
Beneath a gold circular arch dressed in orange and pink flowers, with a Christian cross woven into the decor, Mileny and Andrick exchanged vows. Then came the moment guests will remember: a white unity cord tied around the couple’s joined hands — a lazo tradition that turns “two become one” into something you can literally see. A young ring bearer in a navy suit carried the rings with great ceremony of his own.
Tacos at Cocktail Hour
Between the vows and the party: a full taco bar, with guacamole, salsa, nachos, rice, and black bean salsa. Cocktail hour food is rarely the headline of a wedding story — this one earned it.
Candlelight and Dancing
The reception room glowed: burgundy linens, tall glass candle holders, a “Mr & Mrs” sign, and a white tiered cake with orange and pink flowers and a gold topper. The couple made their grand entrance through the double doors, and the dancing didn’t slow down after that.
