Ashley & Kara — A Backyard Wedding in Perkasie
A stone house, a porch dressed in purple, and a lawn full of people in summer hats — Ashley and Kara’s May wedding in Perkasie, PA was a backyard wedding done exactly right.

The Ceremony
The white-railed porch became the altar, draped in purple with floral arrangements on either side. Ashley wore a lace strapless gown, her floral tattoos and a purple hairpiece completing the look; Kara wore an off-shoulder gown with long sleeves. Both carried bouquets of purple, yellow, orange, and white. A flower girl in lavender walked ahead of them — and the rings were delivered by a ring bearer in a brown bear costume.

Portraits and Party
After group photos and portraits of the couple, the celebration moved under the tent: lavender florals on the tables, a buffet, wine and toasts, and a dessert spread of decorated cookies beside the card box in place of a traditional cake.
