Napoor’s Sweet 16 — A Butterfly Ballroom
Purple light, paper butterflies, and a balcony entrance. Napoor’s Sweet 16 in a Tudor-style ballroom was equal parts formal celebration and family reunion — with two outfits, one for each.

The Room
Butterflies everywhere: branches in yellow, pink, and blue, hydrangea centerpieces, purple drapery and uplighting, blush linens, a gift table, and a white-and-gold throne chair beneath illuminated “16” letters. Drink stations poured strawberry lemonade and piña coladas; the buffet ran from chilli chicken to a pasta station.

Two Looks, One Entrance
Portraits first — lavender gown, tiara, the throne chair (the gallery’s cover). Then the lehenga for the entrance: appearing on the interior balcony, walking in escorted and waving, straight into a receiving line of hugs.

Candles, Speeches, Dancing
Family speeches — Napoor’s own included — then the candle-lighting ceremony by the glowing 16, taper after taper, reactions all around. The night closed on the dance floor: saris up and spinning, a slow dance, and teen group photos to finish.
