Adriana’s Sweet 16 — Butterflies and Blush at Domaine Pterion
A 1780s Pennsylvania bank barn may not be the obvious choice for a Sweet 16 — until you see it dressed in blush pink. Adriana Cerezo celebrated her sixteenth on March 28, 2026, at Domaine Pterion Vineyard in Macungie, and the old stone walls and rough-hewn beams turned out to be the perfect frame for a party built on pink, white, gold, and butterflies.

The Details
Pink gauze runners and greenery ran down the tables, between woven placemats and gold lanterns with real candles. Butterflies turned up everywhere. There were favor jars filled with pink and purple candies, a crate for cards, a guest book by the door, and a photo corner with pink drapes, garlands, and a ring light that stayed busy all afternoon.

The Guest of Honor
Adriana wore a light pink dress and a floral crown of pink and white blooms, and the dress code on her invitation — light colors and floral dresses — meant her friends arrived looking like part of the decor. Between portraits there were cupcakes, and between cupcakes there were more portraits.

The Party
A Sweet 16 lives or dies on its dance floor, and this one lived: the DJ kept it full, and by the last hour the room was a sea of light-up foam sticks. The cake — pink and white tiers with a “Sweet 16” topper, ringed with cupcakes — had to compete with the dancing for attention, which is exactly how it should be.
