Lily & Patrick — He Read Her a Letter
Most proposals are a question. Patrick’s was a letter first. His February proposal to Lily in a winter city park is the quietest one in this archive — and one of the best-planned.

The Walk
Shot long-lens and hidden: the couple on park paths and city streets, bare trees and gray sky, her fuzzy tan coat and his plaid flannel, laughing through a winter morning that gave no hint at all.

The Letter
A helper hands them papers — the cue. On the lawn, beside two folding camp chairs, Patrick went to one knee and read aloud what he’d written, Lily standing before him with pages of her own, smiling. Covered from several angles, because a reading deserves witnesses.

The Answer
Her head on his chest. The embrace runs in color and black-and-white in this set, and both versions earn their place. Portraits after — cheek to cheek against the cold — and the gallery’s last frames are Lily’s hand raised to the lens, ring on.

Proof that a proposal doesn’t need a production — it needs a plan and the right words. Sunny Singh Photography plans and photographs surprise proposals across the Philadelphia area.
