Abigail & Nicholas
I had such an awesome time recently when I met up with Abigail and Nicholas at the Great Arch at Valley Forge National Park, just outside King of Prussia, PA. Seriously, these two are the definition of easy-going and kind, which made capturing their vibe a complete breeze. The day was just right—not too hot, with a lovely sunny overcast that created this beautiful, diffused light for our photos. It was honestly the perfect setting for some stunning natural shots, and later in the evening, we even got to play around with some flash photography that gave a nice moody effect.

We kicked things off with some traditional poses, and let me tell you, the awkward laughter that ensued made the whole session feel so much more relaxed and candid. I love when couples let loose and just be themselves in front of the camera; it really brings out their personalities! As the sun started to dip lower, we decided to take a little adventure to a nearby covered bridge. Now, here’s where it got a bit thrilling—we set up for some shots in the middle of the road! Talk about taking a risk! But trust me, the payoff was totally worth it. The images we captured there were just breathtaking; the juxtaposition of the serene bridge and the bustling cars made for such dynamic shots.

As we wrapped up, I couldn’t help but think about how important these moments are. It’s not just about the clicks and poses, but about capturing the essence of love in all its forms—especially for interracial couples like Abigail and Nicholas. Each wedding story is unique, and I’m always excited to help couples tell theirs, whether it’s in South Jersey, Philadelphia, or beyond. The beauty of using platforms like TheKnot and Wedding Wire is that they really connect us, and it’s delightful to see couples celebrating their love in such magnificent ways. It’s all about those genuine interactions and gorgeous backdrops that create timeless memories.
