Lasya’s Sweet 16 — Blue Drapes, Pink Gown, Live Band
A ballroom in blue and pink for Lasya’s sixteenth, on January 25, 2020 — a throne chair on a draped stage, her name in script, a live band, and choreographed dances between the portraits.

The Room
Blue drapes, pink accents, and a stage built around a white throne-style chair. Round tables in white linen, floral centerpieces, crystal-and-gold details, and script signs — “Lasya” and “Sweet 16” — opening the gallery before a single guest appears.

The Birthday Girl
Lasya wore a light pink embellished gown from first frame to last: solo portraits against the blue backdrop (one in black and white), seated portraits on the throne chair, and then the long run of group portraits — family and friends, saris and suits, kids included.

The Cake
Pink and white tiers with her name in script as the topper. She cut it with family around her, and the feeding frames followed, the way they always do.

The Performances
A live band played the stage under purple light, two choreographed group dances followed — matching pink tops with white-and-yellow skirts, then light blue and white dresses — with a slow dance and a turn at the microphone in between. The gallery closes at the tables, everyone still in their party clothes.

Sweet sixteens deserve a photographer who shoots the program and the people. Sunny Singh Photography photographs milestone celebrations across the Philadelphia area.
